There is complete uniformity between the
sections |

One-hour quizzes and the
final exam will be closed book and closed notes, but you
can use an 8½ x 11 inch review sheet written on both sides. |

Short quizzes may be
given during the recitation or during the lecture. |

No make-up quizzes will be given. A grade
of zero will be recorded for a missed quiz unless you provide a valid
excuse |

|
or have prior instructor approval, in
which case the grade will be prorated. |
|
|
The lowest quiz grade
(out of 4 quizzes) will be dropped. |
|
|
Homework will be
collected in class, every Tuesday, on the dates indicated on the course calendar. |

Homework assignments are
posted on the course web site on WebCT. |

No late homework will be accepted. |
